So is he into me or not? I need help with these mixed messages this guy is giving me!?

i met this perfect guy at a party last fri. we talked all night. i asked 4 his # and he took mine. he texted me sat night. i could not text-i didnt have messaging. i called sun afternoon and didnt get him. added him on facebook and he wrote, i wrote back-then nothing. texted him next night. he texted back immediatly, i replied, nothing. then i waited 3 days, called fri night b4 i went out...i actually though that he picked up and hung up on me! but there was no background noise when it picked up so i wasnt sure (happens to me on the subway) i thought he hated me but then he poked me back on facbook the next day (i had poked him about a day ago). i texted him yesterday (since calling sux) saying if he wanted to have coffee sometime he should let me kno. what is he telling me?? he goes to a nearby college (we're both freshman) I'm bad a flirt and feel i havent done much w/ my little opportunity. he is british...is this what they do overthere? is it wrong to still think well get together?

Reply:Just take a step back and don't appear obsessive. I was hanging out with a guy who was perfect for me. We seemed to hit it off great and had everything in common. He told me that he didn't want a relationship, yet he liked me. This made no sense to me. I wanted him to explain in greater detail how you could really like someone but not care to show it, or go anywhere with it. A mutual friend of ours told me that the guy I liked was contimplating kissing me, but didn't want to confuse the situation more. well I couldn't see how expressing our feelings for one another through an innocent kiss could arise confusion so I did something that I NEVER did in my life, approach him and try for a kiss. Finally he like gave me a peck when I was right there in his face. The only reason I even went to that extreme was because leading up to that he would hug me, and our hugs would turn into a holding fest. We would just sit there cuddling pretty much. Also he kissed me on the top of my head so heeelllloooo what was I suppose to think?! Anyway, to make a long story short, he randomly stopped talking to me and said that our situation was getting too serious. He told me that he felt as though I was being pushy... we barely talk now :-/





I wouldn't want to see this happen to you so just take a step back and let him do the communicating. Respond back to him and leave him a message time to time to show you're still interested, but let him sort out the rest.

Reply:That is just too much drama to start a relaionship on. I say let it go and just see what happens. Don't have any expectations, that way if it doesn't work out, you don't lose anything.
